The Emilia Pérez ladies—they’re just like us.

“There was a lot of wine,” Zoe exclusively told Live From E!: Golden Globes’ Zuri Hall while on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Jan. 5. “A lot of cheese, a lot of bread. Nobody was gluten free. When in France, you just can't.”

“I'm not ashamed to use this phrase—'we were holding space for each other,’” she continued, referencing that Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Wicked interview. “And I think that that was wonderful. And we all came with our vulnerabilities and our fire and we just cheered each other on. And I what I love is the fact that we are being recognized for the sisterhood that we created.”

Selena—also up for Best Supporting Actress against Zoe, Ariana, Felicity JonesMaragaret Qualley and Isabella Rossellini—agrees.
