Grey’s Anatomy is returning for a 23rd season!

The long-running medical drama on ABC was renewed back in March, and they are now heading back into production for the new episodes.

The television show’s official Instagram account shared a new cast photo on Friday (July 24), confirming which stars will be reprising their roles.

If you missed it, a new Texas-based spinoff is also in the works!

Spotted in the new cast photo above are longtime stars Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr, Debbie Allen, Chris Carmack, Caterina Scorsone, Camilla Luddington, and Jason George.

Newer stars returning include Anthony Hill, Alexis Floyd, Harry Shum Jr, Adelaide Kane, Niko Terho, and Trevor Jackson. Jen Landon, who joined the cast in a recurring role in season 22 as Dr Toni Wright, was also pictured, confirming she’ll be coming back as well.

Notably absent from the group pic was Ellen Pompeo, who took on decreased screen time on the show. She still regularly appears and narrates, as well as serving as an executive producer.

Of course, as previously reported, Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd are not returning next season.

Grey’s Anatomy season 23 will debut this fall on ABC, returning to its 10 pm ET/PT slot on Thursday nights!
