Grey’s Anatomy is currently airing its 22nd season on ABC, and fans can rest assured…it looks good for a season 23 renewal!

They’re reporting that the show is facing budget considerations. And while the “budget conversation…clearly indicates that the series will return for a 23rd season,” it also signals that there could be changes coming.

They shared that cost-saving moves could come in the form of less episodes per season, or possibly, cast departures.

Nothing is set in stone at this time, and a renewal announcement is not confirmed, either. We expect the network TV shows to all have their renewal or cancellation decisions made in the coming months. CBS already announced most of their renewal and cancellations!

And if you don’t already know, this season of Grey’s has 18 episodes, with episode 11 returning on Thursday (February 26). A major character is set to return in this ep!
