Federation: Piracy adds a solo mode to the 2-4 player game, in addition to including two modules — Piracy and AI Assistant — that can be used in the solo mode or multiplayer game, whether alone or together. The modules aim to increase asymmetry in the game, with you choosing one of the AI Assistant cards when you get the assistant die, so instead of using the die only in the Senate to influence votes, you can use it for one of several rewards.
