Spencer Pratt Reveals “Incredible” TikTok Income After His and Heidi’s Montag Home Burned Down

Your POV on Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's net worth might be incorrect.

In fact, the Hills alums—who lost their house and almost all of their belongings earlier this month to the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles—said that they don't make as much money on TikTok as fans think, with Spencer clarifying that he was only earning 10 cents for every 10,000th view on the social media platform until recently.

"I screenshotted my RPM that shows how much I made on Tiktok," Spencer exclusively told E! News co-host Keltie Knight in an interview airing Jan. 23. "Everyone thought that was $3.5 million in the week."

However, according to Spencer, he actually only made $3,500 that week from the 5,000 videos on his account, explaining that many of the views on his TikTok videos aren't monetized by the app's content creator program.

"If it was true," Spencer said with a laugh, "we would be in Bel Air right now shopping for our new house."

Still, the 41-year-old is amused by the idea that the internet thinks "Spencer's rich and famous." As he pointed out, he's now earning 12 cents per 10,000 qualifying views.

"I'm not against the brand," Spencer quipped. "So, soon as I am rich and famous, everyone will really know so quick."

As for his Snapchat income? "I made $25 in one day," he revealed, "off lots of snaps."

But for former Princes of Malibu star and his wife—who share sons Gunner, 7 and Ryker, 2—every cent matters in their journey to rebuild their home. Whether it's through social media or music royalties, Heidi said she's thankful for the outpouring of support she and Spencer have received during their "darkest hour."

"It feels incredible," she told E! News, "because we can't afford to rebuild our house right now. We don't have the money to do that."

The 38-year-old continued, "Hopefully, we will be able to do that and we will be able to get our kids' house back."

For now, the couple are leaning on their support system, which includes pal Avril Lavigne.

"When this was all happening, she DM'd me on Tiktok and was like, 'Hey, I wanna bring you guys over some wine,'" Spencer recalled. "So, Avril Lavigne came over and was here for five hours—the best energy."

Heidi added, "And she brought me three of her own purses and a pair of sunglasses. I was like, 'Oh my gosh!'"
