The search for the next “Top Chef” is officially on.
Bravo’s hit cooking show returns for Season 23 tonight, March 9; it’s also returning to somewhat familiar location. After filming Season 14 entirely in Charleston, South Carolina, Season 23 will be set across North and South Carolina, with the “Top Chef” kitchen located in Steele Creek, North Carolina.
Paul Cheney/BravoThe next “Top Chef” will win $250,000, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, an appearance at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado, the chance to headline an exclusive dinner at James Beard House in New York and the opportunity to present at The James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards in Chicago, per Bravo.
After tonight’s episode, “Top Chef” will move to its regular time of 9:30 p.m. ET next Monday, March 16. Every episode of “Top Chef” Season 23 is 75 minutes long.

“Top Chef” Season 23 premieres tonight, March 9, at a special time, 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes will air weekly on Mondays at 9:30 p.m. following tonight’s premiere.
How to watch ‘Top Chef’ for free
If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream “Top Chef” live for free. ‘Top Chef’ Season 23 judges
Kristen Kish, the winner of “Top Chef” Season 10, returns for her third season as host of “Top Chef.” Head judge Tom Colicchio and “Top Chef” mainstay Gail Simmons make up the rest of the judging panel.
Playing on the Carolinas location, Bravo’s “Southern Charm” cast members Madison LeCroy and Craig Conover will guest judge, per the season’s trailer.
