Hoda Kotb is returning to Today!

On Thursday (April 9), it was announced that Hoda, 61, will be temporarily returning as co-anchor of the NBC morning talk show to cover for Craig Melvin as heads out on vacation.

Hoda will return to co-anchor alongside Savannah Guthrie for one week starting on Monday, April 13.

Keep reading to find out more…“You’re heading off on a very well-deserved vacation,” Savannah, 54 told Craig, 46. “You’ve been holding it down here for a long time. So you’re gonna have a spring break. And Monday we’re gonna try a new host here. Her name is Hoda and she’s gonna fill in for you next week.”

After Craig that he’s “heard of her,” he confirmed he “won’t turn on the TV” during his absence.

“Yeah, don’t,” Savannah said. “You’re not supposed to watch on your vacation.”

Hoda originally left Today in January 2025 to spend more time with her daughters, but has since returned multiple times. In February, she returned for an extended to fill in for Savannah amid the disappearance of her mom Nancy Guthrie. After weeks off the air, Savannah returned to Today on Monday, April 6.
