Macaulay Culkin is mourning the death of his Home Alone movie mom, Catherine O’Hara.

The beloved actress, who played Kate McCallisters in the 1990 movie and its 1992 sequel, passed away on Friday (January 30) at the age of 71.

Catherine‘s death has been confirmed by her team and more details about what happened are already emerging.

Macaulay took to his Instagram shortly after the news was revealed and reacted to the shocking loss.

“Mama. I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much to say. I love you. I’ll see you later,” Macaulay wrote.
