Despite the million-dollar commercials, ticket sales and viewership the annual event receives, the Halftime Show performer isn’t compensated. In fact, most artists pay for their shows. That includes the set design, the staff, backup dancers and singers and other factors that contribute to the 13-minute concert.

How Much Were the Halftime Show Performers Paid?

Supporting performers, on the other hand, are paid for working with the headliner. Bad Bunny’s show featured a field of trees, and each tree was actually a costume for a person. The “tree” actors were reportedly paid around $1,300 for the eight-day rehearsal process and Halftime Show performance.
