The live-action adaptation, directed by Dean DeBlois, follows the narrative of the 2010 animated classic, based on Cressida Cowell’s novels. It stars Mason Thames as Hiccup, Nico Parker as Astrid, and Gerard Butler reprising his role as Stoick the Vast. Additional cast members include Julian Dennison, Nick Frost, Gabriel Howell, and Ruth Codd.
