Amid the shocking news that Catherine O’Hara has passed away at 71, many fans will likely be spending the weekend by watching her beloved movies.

The film was released back in 1990 and while it only earned a 66% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, it has remained a classic. The sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, was not well-received by critics and holds a 35% rating.
