We’re remembering the lives of those lost from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer franchise, including the spinoff series Angel and the original 1992 film written by Joss Whedon.

After working on the movie, which starred Kristy Swanson in the titular role, Joss felt that it went in a different direction than he would have liked and took his idea to television instead, where he created the acclaimed supernatural drama series that ran for seven seasons.

Since the completion of the show, there have been several actors and actresses who have died, with one star tragically passing away in March 2026.

Our continued thoughts are with the family, friends, and loved ones of these late actors and actresses.
