Influencer Sydney Towle has sadly passed away at the young age of 26.

She had been battling a rare form of cancer, called cholangiocarcinoma, since she was 23 years old.

This week, her brother announced she had entered hospice.

Sydney Towle’s death was announced in a social media post

A social media post was shared today, and it revealed she passed away on August 5, 2026.

A photo was posted with the words, “Rest in Peace Sydney Elizabeth Towle. An endless ray of sunshine. A daughter, a sister and friend to so many.”

The post was captioned, “We will always love you so much Sydney. I am so proud of how hard you fought. I love you.”

How did Sydney Towle die?

Sydney had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called cholangiocarcinoma, which forms in the bile ducts. Bile ducts are tubes that connect your liver to your gallbladder and to your small intestine.

When it comes to this diagnosis, the Mayo Clinic suggest, “See your doctor if you have persistent fatigue, abdominal pain, jaundice, or other signs and symptoms that bother you.”
