Scott Foley is set to star in the upcoming new series It’s Not Like That!

The 53-year-old actor will play a recently widowed pastor in the forthcoming Prime Video television show, set to debut on the streamer in May, and first look photos were just revealed this week.

Here’s a synopsis: It’s Not Like That follows Malcolm (Foley), a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three. Lori (Erinn Hayes) is newly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom with parenthood. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?

Also starring include J.R. Ramirez (David Soto), Caleb Baumann (Merritt Soto), Cary Christopher (Justin Jeffries), Leven Miranda (Flora Jeffries), Liv Lindell (Casey Soto), and Cassidy Paul (Penelope Jeffries).

In addition to starring, Scott is also serving as an executive producer.

It’s Not Like That currently has all episodes available to watch on Wonder Project’s subscription on Prime Video. The series will then have a global launch on May 15th!

“One of the reasons the show is called ‘It’s Not Like That’ is because we tend to go through life looking at things through our own narrow lens,” co-creator Ian Deitchman, known for shows like Life As We Know It and Parenthood, told TV Line about the new series. ”What you’re seeing and experiencing is always so much bigger, and if people could embrace life with a sense of grace, the world would be a better place. We are hopeful that it brings that kind of energy.”
