The latest edition of WWE RAW saw Judgment Day member JD McDonagh in a scary spot during his match. RAW featured a World Tag Team Titles match between the champions — The War Raiders and The Judgment Day.

Things shifted when McDonagh’s tag team partner, Finn Balor, became unavailable, and Dominik Mysterio stepped in to replace him. Last week, during a backstage segment on WWE RAW, McDonagh discussed the match and Balor’s absence, and Mysterio volunteered to team up with him.

During the match, McDonagh, alongside his tag team partner Dominik Mysterio, faced The War Raiders. While the champions retained their title, Erik and Ivar hit the War Machine on Mysterio for the win. On the other hand, with The War Raiders owning their World Tag Team Titles, The Judgment Day suffered a loss.

Dear God! We don’t give JD McDonagh enough credit. That man is very VERY lucky that he doesn’t have a broken neck. That was NASTY!

The guy is absolutely awesome in-ring. I pray he’s okay. #WWERAW pic.twitter.com/v1w9CEuwnD

However, the match also featured a concerning moment with McDonagh. He attempted a moonsault to the outside but accidentally hit the back of his head against the commentary table. Fans grew worried about McDonagh’s condition, but he pushed through and finished the match. Despite the terrifying spot, McDonagh later shared unfortunate news following the incident.

JD McDonagh reveals he’ll be out for months due to injury following WWE RAW

After the scary spot on WWE RAW, JD McDonagh from The Judgment Day revealed he will be sidelined for months. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank everyone for their messages and concern, stating that he was dealing with a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung. He further expressed gratitude and revealed that he would be taking time off to recover.

First off, thanks to everyone for the messages and the concern. I'm good.

I've got a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung, so I'm going to be out for a couple months. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse, so I'm grateful for that.

See ya in a bit. ??

It’s unfortunate news for JD McDonagh, especially as the road to WrestleMania 41 was about to kick off. McDonagh received messages of support from fans, Dominik Mysterio, and his opponents The War Raiders wishing him well.

However, with McDonagh out of action for several months, it remains to be seen how The Judgment Day’s storyline evolves. Meanwhile, WWE has already teased tension between Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio over the past few months.
