Jean Harlow's estate is up for sale ... but a potential buyer will need to make quite the explosion on the real estate market to lock up the Blonde Bombshell's pad.
The 4-bedroom, 7-bathroom mansion -- which sits on 1.32 acres of prime real estate in Los Angeles -- hit the market on Tuesday and will certainly generate a ton of buzz.
The 7,367-square-foot home, built in 1932, features marble fireplaces and crown molding straight out of Jean's era, as well as a library, a Prohibition-era speakeasy and a separate 1,320-square-foot guesthouse on the property as well. But that's not all the place has to offer...
Of course, the house comes with a pool -- no expensive L.A. home would be complete without one -- a full-size tennis court, a koi pond, two greenhouses and a temperature-controlled wine cellar.
Basically, it's a house built for a starlet ... and it can be yours -- if you happen to have $16.8 million lying around.
If you don't know ... Harlow rose to fame in the late 1920s and early 1930s ... showcasing her talent in Howard Hughes' "Hell's Angels" and the 1931 movie "Platinum Blonde" -- a nickname attached to her in real life as well. Tragically, Harlow died of kidney failure while shooting "Saratoga" in 1937 ... she was just 26 years old.
