A new sports-centric Jeopardy spinoff is in development!

Emmy-winning Monday Night Football cohost Joe Buck is set to host the game show. He was previously a guest host on the flagship game show after Alex Trebek‘s death in 2020.

The press release says the target audiences for this show will be “sports fanatics” and will include “material covering the full spectrum of ESPN content.”

Contestants will represent their choice of charity and compete for the $500,000 grand prize and title of ESPN Jeopardy champion.

Crackle previously launched Sports Jeopardy, which ran on the platform for three seasons and ended in 2016.

The main Jeopardy series is still airing weeknights on ABC.

Another popular Jeopardy spinoff, Pop Culture Jeopardy, is migrating from Amazon Prime Video to Netflix for its second season and will return in May. Saturday Night Live vet Colin Jost is back to host.

In February, Ryan Gosling used Jeopardy to pull off a sweet promotional stunt for Project Hail Mary and also gave his longtime partner Eva Mendes a shoutout!
