Jill Zarin is breaking her silence after getting fired from The Golden Life, a Real Housewives of New York reunion show being produced by E!.

The reality star, 62, came under fire after uploading a rant to Instagram about Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (February 8) night.

She deleted the video quickly, but several people were able to save it beforehand and reposted it where it subsequently went viral. Jill complained that the halftime show was entirely in Spanish and said it “looked like a political statement, because there were literally no white people in the entire thing.”

“They didn’t even give me a chance,” Jill said to InTouch in response to the heavy criticism. “I took it down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human.”

“Everyone on the Internet is up in arms because they love Jill and were finally getting her back,” a source told the outlet. “E! made a snap decision without even taking into account that Jill took it down right away. Jill will be back — this won’t keep her down. People love her. That will never change.”
