Justin Theroux is opening up about life at home following the birth of his son.

If you didn’t see, the 54-year-old Running Point actor and wife Nicole Brydon Bloom announced last week that they recently welcomed their first child together.

While appearing on TODAY on Thursday (April 23), Justin shared how his beloved dog Kuma, who is a pit bull, has been behaving around the new baby.

Keep reading to find out more…“Oh she’s perfect,” Justin shared. “She’s really perfect, gentle. Her energy is great.”

Justin went on to say that he hasn’t observed any aggression or jealousy from Kuma since the baby boy joined the family.

“No! She is so sweet,” the Emmy winner insisted. “Honestly, she reads the room. She’s very tender.”

“We’ll bring him into the room and she’ll just sort of post up near us, keep her eye on the door and makes sure nobody comes in,” he added.

If you didn’t know, Justin adopted Kuma back in 2018 and she often joins him on the red carpet and at public events.

Also during the interview, Justin gushed over his newborn son.

“I just love looking into his eyeballs,” Justin said. “It’s just beautiful, it’s just a wonderful thing. We’re in that period now, of course, where it’s a lot of just quiet tiptoeing around the house, beautiful, occasional crying. Yeah, it’s wonderful.”

The Devil Wears Prada 2 actor went on to praise Nicole, 32, saying that she’s the one “doing the Herculean task of feeding,” adding that parenthood is “so much better” than he imagined.

“I’ve been told by other fathers, ‘Wait until you see this child. You’re gonna fall in love,’” he recalled. “And you still always have that little moment of like, ‘Is that really going to happen?’”

“And the minute he appears, your whole life just starts to revolve around this thing, and your heart just opens up in a beautiful way,” Justin continued. “So I’m really happy, really happy.”
