Kanye West recently confirmed that he went to rehab to seek treatment for bipolar disorder and now an insider claims that his wife Bianca Censori had been preparing to leave him.

The rapper released an apology statement in the Wall Street Journal and spoke out in an interview with Vanity Fair this week, telling the world he’s sorry about his past antisemitic statements and actions.

In an open letter, he revealed, “Some of the people I love the most, I treated the worst,” addressing his bipolar diagnosis and what was missed over the years.

Now, we’ve learned that Kanye‘s marriage was on the line.

“Bianca had been very unhappy in their marriage for a while and tried to get out a number of times,” a source told People.

A source also discussed what Kanye has been going through for years.

“He’s been in this vicious cycle for years. When he’s not in a good space mentally, he tends to create so much drama, which then has lasting consequences,” the source said. “And when he reaches a more stable place, he becomes very aware of the damages he’s caused his family, friends and himself. The awareness brings this intense guilt and regret, making it hard for him to stay emotionally healthy. He understands what he’s done and that weighs heavily on him. By the time he’s feeling clearer, there’s already so much fallout.”

In his recent comments, Kanye noted how Bianca helped him come to the decision to seek treatment, saying they they “recognized that, and we sought out what’s been an effective and stabilizing course correction in my regime from a rehab facility in Switzerland.”

There were rumors of a break up in early 2025.
