Kayla Nicole is reflecting on her past relationships.

The 34-year sports journalist chatted with Love Island star Ace Greene for a TikTok live conversation on Thursday (February 19) and questions came up about her love life, per TMZ.

When asked about when her last relationship was, Kayla said, “Probably, like, three years ago now. It’s been a long time.”

She and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reportedly broke up for good in May 2022 after dating on and off for five years.

Ace then asked a follow-up question about why her last relationship didn’t work.

“Who knows? Could be compatibility issues, right person, wrong time,” she responded.

In the video, Kayla went on to say, “It’s kinda sad because I feel like dating in 2026 is just hard all the way around. I feel like the bar is in hell. So, my new list of requirements is: having a job, that’s at the top of the list.”
