Kendall Jenner Matches With Kylie Jenner in Nipple-Baring Met 2026 Look
Kendall Jenner held out on revealing her full Met Gala 2026 look until she was inside.
The draped ivory gown and nipple bodice that the Kardashians star wore on the steps at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art wasn't actually her complete outfit. As it turned out, the ensemble from GapStudio by Zac Posen featured massive angel wings, which Kendall unveiled once she made her way into the May 4 party. Tapping into the night's "Fashion Is Art" dress code, the detachable accessory featured a massive photographic print of the "Winged Victory of Samothrace" and spanned almost the width of the red carpet. The gown—hand-dyed in tea—was meant to evoke the "wet drapery" look of the iconic statue, also known as "Nike of Samothrace."
"Fashion becomes art when it engages with the body," Zac shared in press release. "It’s not separate from the wearer; the body becomes part of the artwork."
The designer added, "The look started with a white T-shirt and evolved through draping and manipulation into something sculptural and alive, shaped by movement, with a sense of fluidity and wind that echoes the sea-swept energy of the sculpture."
But that wasn't Kendall's only wardrobe change of the night. After the fashion fundraiser, the 30-year-old underwent yet another transformation, shedding her dress' outer fabric and rocking only the flesh-colored corset to an after-party.

In fact, the NSFW bodice was actually based on Kendall's own body. As Zac explained to Vogue, "We 3D-printed her body and made a mannequin and a bust of it that is the corset underneath this."
And for Kendall, the piece "came together so perfectly."
“It’s been really cool to see him work." the supermodel said. "I can see his wheels turning, which is such a treat for me. I love being a part of every step of the process."
