Kerry Washington is returning to Netflix in a new psychological thriller.

On Thursday (February 5), it was announced that the 49-year-old Emmy winner will be starring alongside James Marsden and Chloe East in the new movie An Innocent Girl from Spanish filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra.

Keep reading to find out more…The upcoming thriller is “about a young and ambitious woman seduced by a high-powered D.C. couple who draw her into a dangerous world of sex, power and murder,” according to Variety.

Along with starring in the movie, Kerry will also be serving as an executive producer.

The screenplay was written by Michael Mohan and Marc Guggenheim with current revisions by Carly Wray.

Kerry‘s role in An Innocent Girl is just her latest project with Netflix as she starred in a handful of movies for the streaming service in the past, including last year’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

The movie also marks a return to Netflix for James, 52, who starred in the Emmy-nominated series Dead to Me.
