Kim Kardashian has turned a family resemblance into a full-blown Halloween transformation. She swapped her familiar glam for a look that closely mirrors her teenage daughter, North West. Electric-blue hair, facial piercings, and a set of black grills made the reality star look so different. As a result, fans initially struggled to tell mother and daughter apart.

Kim Kardashian unveiled the makeover on TikTok and Instagram, recreating North West’s signature style from head to toe. She wore a black graphic T-shirt over a striped long-sleeved top, a pleated miniskirt, spiked accessories, and a skull-and-crossbones necklace. Her blue hair, faux bridge piercing, decorative finger piercings, and black teeth completed the striking look. She also copied North’s hand-over-mouth pose, showing off gem-covered, duck-shaped nails.

The resemblance sent fans and relatives into the comments. One follower admitted they initially believed Kardashian had simply posted pictures of North. Kris Jenner called the look “so fun,” and Khloé Kardashian commented “Twins!!!!!!” La La Anthony also applauded the makeover, posting “U went crrrazzzzyyyyy.”

North, whom Kardashian shares with her ex-husband Kanye West, has developed a recognizable aesthetic featuring blue twin pigtails and alternative fashion. Her hairstyle draws inspiration from Japanese virtual pop star Hatsune Miku. Kardashian has previously defended her daughter’s experimentation, saying on the Call Her Daddy podcast in October 2025 that she would “never take away North’s creativity” (via ENews).

That freedom still comes with limits. North told Dazed in August that she wants a real bridge piercing but cannot get one yet, so she is using faux jewelry as an alternative. Kardashian has also recalled that North wanted facial piercings from an early age, even wearing fake ones for school as a young child.

North has faced criticism over her appearance, too. During a TikTok livestream with her mother, she pushed back against people calling her “demonic” because of her style, asking them not to judge her by her looks.
