Kim Kardashian Reveals Role Mason Disick Played in Psalm’s 7th Birthday

Psalm West had to catch ‘em all.

And that includes his older cousin Mason Disick, as the 16-year-old son of Kourtney Kardashian and ex Scott Disick graciously donned a Pikachu costume for the 7-year-old’s Pokémon-themed birthday party.

Always one to go all out for her kids, Kim Kardashian—who shares Psalm, North West, 12, Saint West, 10, and Chicago West, 8, with ex Kanye “Ye” West—pulled out all the stops for the event.

Revealing “Mason as Pikachu,” Kim joked in a video on her Instagram Story on May 14, “Gimme a hug, Pikachu!”

Further showing off the celebration on Instagram, Kim captured the house decked out with Pokémon ball balloons inside. Meanwhile, the backyard was adorned with blown up trading cards alongside cut outs of various Pokémon. The cake was decorated with the same motifs.

She quipped, “Pokemon Psalm!”

The All’s Fair star also unveiled a custom hat bar where guests could decorate a cap similar to Pokémon’s protagonist Ash Ketchum. One such hat designed for Psalm featured his name, a red chain, and four different creatures including Pikachu, Snorlax, Squirtle and Charmander.

And while Mason may have been the only person in costume, he was far from the only cousin at Psalm’s big bash. Khloe Kardashian’s daughter True Thompson, 8, and Rob Kardashian’s daughter Dream Kardashian, 9, were also snapped hanging out with the birthday boy.

Beyond the party, Kim paid tribute to her youngest child in a post on his actual birthday on May 9

“Seven years of loving you and learning from you every single day,” she wrote. “I’m so proud of how kind, smart, and special you are, and I hope your birthday is filled with lots of Pokémon and dirt bikes. I love you so much!!!! Happy birthday to my forever baby Psalm.”
