There comes a time in every Kardashian-Jenner woman's life when she hears the siren song of blonde hair, and this time, the call has come for matriarch Kris Jenner.

Though Jenner has been faithful to her signature dark pixie cut for literal decades now, she's been in a more experimental phase as of late, and there's nothing more impactful than unexpectedly going platinum blonde. All of Jenner's daughters have done it at one point or another, even Kourtney and Kendall, though Kendall opted for a warmer, buttery blonde versus icy white.

But back to Jenner! The Kardashian momager debuted a fresh, bright blonde spin on her short hair for a Shark Beauty event on October 8. The blonde was the work of Chris Appleton, daughter Kim's go-to stylist, and the two documented the reveal on Instagram. Instead of the dark hair we instantly associate with Jenner, she's now rocking a jawline-length bob in a pale, dimensional platinum blonde with a darker smudge root versus an all-over, Elsa-style bleach and tone. Her hair was styled straight and parted to the side with a soft side bang, and makeup artist Ash K. Holm defined Jenner's eyes with black liner on the upper and lower waterlines, plus majorly fluttery lashes.
