2025 Golden Globes Candid Moments: PDA Pics, Behind-the-Scenes Snaps & More!

Kristen Bell absolutely wants to savor this moment—but she doesn’t know if she can say the same for her husband Dax Shepard.

The Nobody Wants This star, who was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy at the 2025 Golden Globes, gave fans a glimpse from inside the Beverly Hilton on social media—but it wasn’t what you may think. Rather, it was to playfully put her husband of more than a decade on blast for subtly watching an NFL game during the Jan. 5 award show.

While Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford presented the award for Best Picture – Animated on the stage in front of them—the award went to Flow—Kristen shared a video of her husband tuning into the Detroit Lions game against the Minnesota Vikings with his phone propped in between his legs on her Instagram Stories. Calling a flag on the play, she jokingly wrote, “#priorities,” over the video.

Kristen—who was joined by Kathryn HahnJean SmartQuinta BrunsonSelena Gomez and Ayo Edebri in her category—scored one of Nobody Wants This’ three nominations with Adam earning one for Best Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy and the show picking one up for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. And while neither she nor the show walked away with any trophies, she had a lot to celebrate, as the Netflix series costarring Adam Brody has already been renewed for a second season.

But aside from their unlikely romance in the show, it seems Kristen and her costar have quite the invisible string. Though they hadn’t directly worked together until their involvement in the Netflix series, they had a special connection from back in the Gossip Girl days when Kristen lent her voice to be the show’s narrator while Adam’s wife Leighton Meester starred as Blair Waldorf.

And whether these connections played a part in their on-screen chemistry or not, it has even Dax rooting for their characters’ love story.

“Even I can acknowledge watching it, like, ‘Whoa, that’s hot,’” Kristen said of her chemistry with The O.C. star during a September eTalk interview. “My husband said the same thing. Like, watching the first episode he was like, ‘Oh my god, I want you to kiss him so badly.’”

But ultimately, the 44-year-old has no doubt that she has found her true soulmate in real life—even if they are well aware that they may be considered an unexpected couple.

"I married my polar opposite," The Good Place actress previously told E! News. "We are the antithesis of each other. We argue about absolutely everything, but there is a foundational trust that we've built that keeps us together and is quite stimulated by one another's opinions."

And while Kristen and Dax continue to stun at this year’s Globes, keep reading to see which other couples made a joint appearance…
