Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayKristin Cavallari is opening up about her decision to return to reality television amid the release of the Laguna Beach reunion special. The 39-year-old reality star sat down with her co-stars for a special interview with SiriusXM’s Julia Cunningham when she was asked about her choice to do the spinoff series The Hills. “Kristin, for you, because you continued on too, because obviously, you know, you and LC were like these breakout stars. Were you second-guessing yourself when you ended up going back onto The Hills? Because were you like, “I want to be done with this,” but then the draw of it was maybe just being too rich?” Julia asked. Keep reading to find out more… Kristin said it “was one of the toughest decisions” in her life. “I know that sounds kind of silly, but yes. At the time, I was pretty serious about acting,” she recalled. “I was wanting to sort of get out of the tabloid world, have people take me seriously, and The Hills made me an offer that I just, quite honestly, couldn’t refuse.” She continued, “I said, ‘If I go back to reality TV, I have to just be all in, capitalize on it,’ and I was like, ‘Then I can go into the branding world,’ and I’m so thankful obviously, because it led me to launch Uncommon James and, I mean, it’s just set my life up, but it was a tough decision.” Julia added that during the promo for The Hills, they played up the marketing of “the b—h is back.” “And I will say, they asked me if that was okay,” Kristin acknowledged. “So nice of them, but that was the other thing too. I knew this character that they wanted me to play, and it was just a matter of fully embracing it and leaning in, or just staying down the path I was currently on, and so I just, yeah. I took a left turn and here we are,” she said. During the same interview, Lauren Conrad revealed that the reunion will be her last reality TV project and shared why Stephen Colletti ruined One Tree Hill for her. The Laguna Beach reunion will begin streaming on the Roku Channel on April 10.
