Lady Gaga has arrived for the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2!

The 40-year-old Grammy and Oscar-winning entertainer looked elegant in a simple black gown at the event on Monday night (April 20) at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Gaga wrote and recorded the song “Runway” with Doechii for the film’s soundtrack and it’s rumored that she also provided even more original songs for the movie.

The title of the song is not just a reference to the runway that fashion models walk at shows, it also refers to the magazine in the movie. Meryl Streep‘s Miranda Priestly is the Editor-in-Chief of Runway and the movie follows what happens in the offices of the publication.

After recently wrapping her Mayhem Ball Tour just one week earlier in NYC, Gaga definitely is ready for the next era of her career and we can’t wait for the official release of The Devil Wears Prada 2‘s soundtrack.
