The Young and the Restless is bringing Nina back to Genoa City during the week of August 17 – 21. Lauralee Bell, who plays Cricket, teased Cast’s return back in July. She shared a post on her official Instagram featuring herself alongside Tricia Cast and Beth Maitland, who plays Traci.

Bell also shared a video with the two actresses and said, “How did I get so lucky to work with these two today?” In the video, Cast and Maitland waved to fans while Daryl Hall and John Oates’ classic song, “You Make My Dreams,” played in the background.

The post had quickly given fans a clue that Nina would soon be back in Genoa City. She captioned the post, “I hit the jackpot today working with @bethmaitlanddqb and @triciacast Love you both!”

Nina’s last appearance came in November 2025. She returned for Christine and Danny’s much-anticipated wedding. Her visit also allowed Nina to get closure surrounding Chance’s death, finally. Cast previously revealed how she learned about Chance’s death.

Tricia Cast has played Nina since 1986, making her one of the soap’s longtime legacy characters. Over the years, Cast has made several returns, and longtime viewers always enjoy seeing her back.
