The CW has released the official Good Cop/Bad Cop trailer for the upcoming comedy-drama, starring Gossip Girl alum Leighton Meester. The series is scheduled to make its debut on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

This marks Meester’s first major solo TV project in a while, after starring in the sitcom Single Parents which ended its two-season run in 2020. Besides new The CW comedy, she will also next be seen in the upcoming second season of Apple TV+’s The Buccaneers.

What happens in the Good Cop/Bad Cop trailer?

The video introduces Meester as a small town police officer, who has no choice but to partner up with her younger brother Henry after complaining about being surrounded by rookie cops. It also teases the guest appearance of Meester’s husband, Adam Brody (The O.C.). The cast also includes Luke Cook as Henry Hickman, Clancy Brown as Hank Hickman, Devon Terrell as Shane Carson, Scott Lee as Joe Bradley, William McKenna as Sam Szczepkowksi, Shamita Siva as Sarika Ray, Blazey Best as Nadia Drozdoca, Grace Chow as Lily Lim, and more.

Good Cop/Bad Cop is created and executive produced by John Quaintance. Executive producers are Chloe Rickard, Jeff Wachtel, Phil Lloyd, and pilot director Trent O’Donnell. The series is a production by Future Shack Entertainment, ITV Studios, and Jungle Entertainment.

“The series centers around Lou and Henry, an odd sibling detective team in a small Pacific Northwest police force,” reads the synopsis. “They must contend with colorful residents, a serious lack of resources, and their very complicated dynamic with each other and with their police chief, Big Hank — who happens to be their father.”
