Lil Nas X is headed to the studio!

The 26-year-old rapper was spotted wearing a cowboy hat and boots as he returns to work in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 7).

Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Hill, was spotted looking more upbeat after his case was dismissed. He was previously facing up to five years in prison on four felony charges for allegedly assaulting and resisting police officers after an incident last August.

But a judge moved to dismiss his case on a diversion, ruling that the arrest was “aberrant from his normal condition” and linked to his bipolar disorder diagnosis.

He will need to completely a two-year mental health diversion program and obey all laws.

“I’m thankful. Just very thankful,” the “Old Town Road” singer told Rolling Stone. “It could have been much worse.”

He looked healthy and happy earlier this week as he was seen wearing a suit and leaving court upon getting the news from the judge. It looks like now he’ll be heading back to work.
