Lil Poppa has sadly died.

The Florida-based rapper, born Janarious Mykel Wheeler, passed away at the age of 25.

The news was confirmed by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office in Georgia, who told TMZ that he passed Wednesday (February 18) at 11:23 AM ET.

A cause of death has not yet been made public.

He was signed to Yo Gotti‘s Collective Music Group, and released his Billboard-charting debut album Blessed, I Guess in 2021. His mixtape Under Investigation 3 also charted in 2022.

He collaborated with stars like Polo G, Moneybagg Yo and Mozzy.

His latest release, “Out of Town Bae,” released just a few days ago, and he was set to perform in March in New Orleans.

His last social media post was promoting the new single, writing: “Out Of Town Bae Official Video out now❤️‍🔥”
