Lily Allen & David Harbour's Las Vegas Wedding

Lily Allen is opening up about a rough patch.

Amid rumors that the “Littlest Things” singer has split from her husband David Harbour after four years of marriage, she shared that she’s not in the best space overall.

“I’m finding it really hard to be interested in anything,” Lily explained to her cohost Miquita Oliver on the Jan. 9 episode of the Miss Me? podcast. “I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiraling and spiraling and it’s got out of control.”

Lily admitted that she has attempted to maintain social ties but has found herself leaving events early due to panic attacks or exhaustion.

“I can’t concentrate on anything except the pain that I’m going through,” she continued. “It’s really hard.”

It’s gotten so difficult, Lily explained, that she is planning to take some time away to recuperate—announcing a hiatus from the Miss Me? show.

“What I do want to reassure people because there will be speculation because of the amount of time that I’m going to be taking away that I’m going to drug rehab—I’m not,” she added. “I’ve not relapsed. I know there have been some horrible blind items on the internet about me being found by my husband in a crack den being surrounded by men. I don’t know who’s spreading these vicious rumors but that’s not true.”

But while Lily is not struggling with substance abuse, she is currently fighting an uphill battle. Last month, she shared that her mental state has begun to affect her eating habits.

I'm not at a great place mentally,” she shared on another episode of her podcast in December. “I’m not eating, but I'm not hungry. I obviously am hungry, but my body and my brain are so disconnected from each other that my body, the messages of hunger, are not going from my body to my brain.”

The 39-year-old—who shares daughters Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11, with ex-husband Sam Cooper—noted that her struggles with eating don’t stem from avoiding food, but rather a lack of appetite.

As she put it, “My body is a few steps behind me.”
