Lisa Rinna knows her fashion can get a little whackadoodle.
But the bold choices—from clothing, or lack thereof, to her major hair transformations—are also what make the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum who she is. And Lisa is ready to own it all, including the secret to her constantly changing hair choices.
As she joked to E! News’ Will Marfuggi, “You mean the wig choices, ‘cause is this really one hair choice?”
Indeed, in addition to husband Harry Hamlin, wigs have become a constant red carpet companion for Lisa—and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I think it's fantastic,” she explained on the Feb. 18 episode of E! News of the versatility wigs offer her. “I thought the other day—as an actor, I never can express myself enough because I never get to work enough as an actor. So this has been a way for me to express myself and create all the time. And it started to move me to tears because I thought, ‘Look what I get to do.’ If I waited for an acting job, I would not get to create that much, unfortunately.”
The Melrose Place alum, 61, continued, “The fashion and the wigs has truly brought joy to my life in a way an expression like I never could do before.”
Plus, in addition to being a creative outlet, Harry pointed out another positive side effect of his wife’s wigs: “I get a new wife all the time.”

After all, he admitted Lisa’s constantly changing looks also bring out different sides of her personality. “The wigs make the person,” the 73-year-old explained. “It used to be the clothes make the man. Now it's the wigs makes the girl.”
But Harry wouldn’t have it any other way, adding, “Look, she comes up with the weirdest stuff—even when she's completely naked in Playboy, I go, ‘That's good.’”

And while the couple has carefully navigated what they’ve shared over the years, with their new podcast Lets Not Talk About the Husband on Dear Media, nothing is off the table.
“I think we've done a good job,” Lisa reflected, “of being out there, but not being out there out there. And that's gone out the window now that we're doing the podcast, like forget about it. Now we're just out there.”
