We’re deep in the final stretch of Lords of Heaven. Over the past weeks, we’ve received a steady stream of e-proofs, production proofs, samples, and print tests, and we’re genuinely happy with how everything is coming together. Production is moving toward completion, and the game is on track to ship in June.

In Lords of Heaven, you step into the struggle for Jerusalem and the balance of power in the medieval Middle East. Choose one of four major forces of the era: the Latin Christian Crusaders, the Orthodox Byzantine Empire, the Shia Fatimid Caliphate, or the Sunni Seljuks. The game invites you not just to relive the First and Second Crusades, but to reshape their outcome entirely.
At its core, Lords of Heaven is an area-control and card-placement game built around asymmetrical factions. You’ll play action cards to raise armies, build fortresses and temples, move troops, fight decisive battles, and develop your influence across the region. But raw conquest isn’t always the answer. The game balances rivalry and cooperation between two broader blocs, Christian and Islamic, where timing, alliances, and political pressure often matter more than the sword.
With its historically grounded setting, nuanced interactions, and numerous scenarios, Lords of Heaven offers a deep, thoughtful take on a turbulent period of history, and this is your last chance to be part of it before release.
