Tame Impala‘s song “Loser” is finding popularity once again!

The track was the second single from Kevin Parker‘s musical project’s 2025 album Deadbeat, and was first released in September 2025.

Now, fans are finding the song again as it appears in the new film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Following the movie’s release, the track has returned to the iTunes charts!

“I had to tell ya, it’s now or never / So much for closure, I lost composure / I get the message, I learned my lesson / Tried to correct it, I think I wrecked it / Man, it’s a crisis, I’m never like this / That’s how my life is, you couldn’t write this,” Kevin sings in the first verse.

Tame Impala also shared a clip from the new Spider-Man movie where the song is used. “It’s now or never,” he wrote in the caption.

Slight spoilers: In the clip, Peter sees Ned at a store, watches as he buys two small kegs and an energy drink, and follows him back to his shared apartment with MJ, where they are hosting a housewarming party.

Earlier this year, another Tame Impala song, “Dracula,” went viral after the release of the remix with Jennie.

The song became the soundtrack to a viral trend on TikTok, where people walk towards the camera while lip-syncing the lyrics, “Now I’m Mr. Charisma, f–kin’ Pablo Escobar / My friends are saying, ‘Shut up, Jennie, just get in the car’ / I just wanna be right where you are.”
