Laufey just dropped her latest single “Madwoman“!

The 26-year-old singer debuted the new song on Friday (April 10) as part of her A Matter of Time: The Final Hour album, which also just came out.

This marks the deluxe edition of her Grammy-winning album A Matter of Time, which was released in August 2025. Earlier this year, the LP won the Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, marking her second win in a row in that category, following her album Bewitched winning in 2024.

“But there’s something so vexing ’bout you / It’s like the gods above us don’t approve /
We’ve been through this before, fell in and out, I said no more / But still I want you like a mad, mad woman,” Laufey sings in the chorus of “Madwoman.”

Also newly released tracks include “How I Get,” “I Wait, I Wait, I Wait” and “I’ll Forget About You (In Time).”

If you missed it, “Madwoman” is getting a music video later today (at 10am ET), and it features a star-studded cast, including an Olympic medalist, two popular actors and another singer!
