Maigret is back tonight with season two on Masterpiece on PBS!

The press release is teasing “dramatic changes in La Brigade Criminelle,” with one of Maigret’s colleagues transferred and another replaced.

Here’s the synopsis: In Season 2, Jules Maigret faces his greatest test yet. As crimes grip Paris, Maigret finds himself fighting on two fronts: hunting dangerous killers while defending his unorthodox methods against internal politics, betrayal, and a department waiting for his luck to run out. If you’re curious, the show will air on Sundays through November 22, 2026.
