There was some police activity near Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s home.
A man was arrested on May 6 near former Prince Andrew’s residence after police were called over reports of a man “behaving in an intimidating manner,” per NBC News citing the Norfolk Constabulary.
“Officers attended,” the force said, “and the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offense and possession of an offensive weapon.”
According to U.K. legislature, an offensive weapon can include knives, truncheons or other items used to inflict harm, but that police did not specify what type of weapon the man was carrying. The man is currently being held for questioning, per the outlet.
E! News has reached out to Andrew’s office as well as the Norfolk Constabulary for comment but has not yet heard back.
Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph’s reporting notes the outlet understands that a man wearing a ski mask ran toward Andrew, shouting abuse while the 66-year-old was walking his dog. Per the outlet, Andrew and his security guard got into their car and sped away from the scene, which was located not far from his home, Marsh Farm, on Sandringham Estate.
Andew relocated to the estate in early April following his Feb 19 arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Months earlier, he’d had his dukedom and royal titles stripped by brother King Charles III over his alleged ties to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. While Andrew has denied any wrongdoing, Charles has made his own stance clear.

"I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office,” Charles said in a statement hours after his brother’s arrest. "What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.”
“In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation,” the 77-year-old continued. “Let me state clearly: the law must take its course.”
The monarch also noted he’d be unlikely to share more information in the future.
"As this process continues,” Charles concluded. "It would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all."

Marius Borg Høiby, Son of Norway's Crown Princess, Arrested Ahead of Rape Trial
Marius Borg Høiby—the eldest son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and step-son of Crown Prince Haakon—was arrested Feb. 1 for assault, threats with a knife and violation of a restraining order, Oslo police confirmed in a statement to The Associated Press.
The 29-year-old—who does not carry a royal title or official duties—is being kept in detention for up to four weeks over risks of reoffending after the Oslo district court granted the request. His attorney Petar Sekulic told the outlet that they are considering appealing the decision.
Høiby is expected in court Feb. 3 as part of a separate indictment regarding four alleged rapes between 2018 and 2024, as well as two alleged acts of violence against a partner and violating a restraining order.
His defense team addressed the allegations in a statement to the AP, saying that Høiby "denies all charges of sexual abuse, as well as the majority of the charges regarding violence."

Prince Harry Appears in Court for Lawsuit Against U.K. Tabloids

Other stars including Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, and Sadie Frost are also taking aim against the publishing company in the lawsuit.
Associated Newspapers has “vigorously denied” the claims, according to the BBC.

Princess Irene of Greece Dies at 83
The Greek royal family’s private office announced Jan. 15 that Queen Sofia of Spain’s sister died at the age of 83.
As the statement read, "It is with deep sadness that the Greek Royal Family announces that HRH Princess Irene, beloved sister and aunt, passed away on Thursday, January 15th 2026, at 11:40 local time, in Zarzuela Palace in Madrid surrounded by loved ones."
Her funeral was held Jan. 19 at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens following her death, with the burial at the Royal Cemetery of Tatoi.
