Marvel has announced another new television series coming to Disney+!

The studio revealed Zodiac, a new live-action spy thriller, during its panel at New York Comic Con on Thursday (October 8).

The upcoming series is scheduled to premiere in 2028, with production set to begin in London in spring 2027.

Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel Television, Animation, Comics & Franchise, shared the news during the panel.

“It’s a spy thriller,” he said. “And for anyone who knows the comics, if you look closely at this title design, you’ll see a few clues about where we’re going.”

What Is Marvel’s Zodiac About?

Marvel is keeping most of the show’s details under wraps for now.

In Marvel Comics, Zodiac is a criminal group whose members are named after the 12 astrological signs. One of its members, Scorpio, is also known as Jacob Fury, the brother of S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury.

The new show’s logo appears to include a S.H.I.E.L.D. symbol, suggesting a possible connection. However, Marvel has not confirmed which characters or stories will be featured.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. previously ran for seven seasons, from 2013 to 2020.

“I can’t tell you anything else about it yet, because it’s a secret,” Brad said during the panel.

Who Is Starring in Zodiac?

No cast members have been announced yet.

Brad revealed that casting would begin in the coming weeks, suggesting that more information about the project could be shared in the near future.

When Will Zodiac Premiere on Disney+?

Marvel has confirmed that Zodiac will arrive on Disney+ sometime in 2028, although an exact date has not been announced.

The show is part of Marvel’s upcoming television lineup, which also includes VisionQuest, premiering October 14, and the third and final season of Daredevil: Born Again, expected in 2027.

We previously shared the official ‘VisionQuest’ trailer and cast details, including the return of Paul Bettany and James Spader.

Marvel also unveiled several other projects at New York Comic Con, including new Marvel Zombies specials and updates on X-Men ’97.
