Megan Moroney abruptly cancels Denver show Getty

Megan Moroney unfortunately wasn’t able to give her fans in Denver the concert they deserved.

On Tuesday night (July 28), the 28-year-old country music singer was performing at the Ball Arena in the capital city when she sadly informed fans that she would not be able to continue the concert after singing just three songs.

“This is obviously the last thing I ever want to do, but I am obviously extremely sick, and I thought I did everything to make myself better,” a hoarse-voiced Megan said, as seen in footage captured by fans on social media. “But, obviously, two songs in, I just can’t play this show tonight. I will make it up to you guys. I promise I’ll be back.”

Scattered boos could be heard immediately after the “Tennessee Orange” singer shared the news, but they quickly turned into supportive cheers as Megan began to cry.

“I want to give you guys the show you deserve, I’m probably going to go cry in my dressing room now,” Megan said, pausing to wipe tears away from her face. “This is like, my worst nightmare. I promise to make it up to you guys 10 times. I love you, and I’m really sorry.”

In a subsequent Instagram Story, Megan once again apologized for canceling the concert and further stressed that she “never ever will give you guys a show that is not 100% and I knew that I was not capable of giving that to you tonight.”

She also said that while writing the message, she was “quite literally bawling my eyes out in my dressing room,” and told her fans that “it hurts me to disappoint you all.”

Megan is currently in the middle of her Cloud 9 Tour and is still scheduled to perform in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, August 1. Her Denver show has now been rescheduled for August 27.

In a new interview, Megan shared some very rare public comments about her love life amid new dating rumors!
