Hot Girl Summer is officially here, thanks to Megan Thee Stallion. And it's here in more ways than one! The rapper debuted her first-ever swimwear collection, the aptly named Hot Girl Summer, with a runway show at Miami Swim Week in Florida, and also debuted a new hair color!

Megan has been in her redhead era for a few months; she went “hot honey” red in January, showing off her new shade during Paris Fashion Week. She stayed red for awhile, including with her sculptural ponytail at the Met Gala, but at the Hot Girl Summer runway show, the red was nowhere to be found. Megan Thee Stallion is back to dark hair!

Many people go lighter for summer, but Megan flipped the script and walked the runway with a head full of dark espresso brunette curls, styled by her longtime hairstylist Kellon Deryck. “Brought the curls back for @theestallion's first runway show at Miami Swim Week," Deryck wrote. The dark curls flowed down her back and shoulders over the high neckline of her metallic monokini, and brushed across her forehead past her brows.

According to Deryck, this was a last-minute decision. “We wanted something big and bold,” he tells Allure of the color change. “[Megan] changed her mind five minutes before coloring it copper and said, ‘Let’s bring back the dark hair.'”
