Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayThe head of the company, Uli Blennemann, tells me that pre-orders for this title should open in Germany on July 22, and this will be the first German-language edition of this Richard Borg design since its debut in 2004. Blennemann notes that this new edition is "slightly changed" with an extra scenario or two.
Adrien Martinot from originating publisher Days of Wonder tells me that "The new version will be out at the same time in English, French, Italian, Czech, and Spanish." More info about the new edition will come later.
▪️ In 2013, German publisher dlp games released Citrus, a tile-laying game by Jeffrey D. Allers that was generally well received, and in 2025 dlp games is bringing an updated version of this design back to market as Reef Gardens.
Here's an overview of this 2-4 player game:
As courageous marine conservationists, you dive into the dazzling world of coral reefs and take on the mission to save these vital ecosystems. With a skillful hand, you plant new corals and create thriving reef landscapes while the clock ticks and the budget dwindles. To get more research money, you may have to part with existing reefs from time to time so that new ones can be planted.

I know that Allers has played Citrus continually over the years, especially at online gaming site Yucata, where he shows 431 games of Citrus played and is ranked fourth-best on the site. Designers aren't always the best players of their creations, but that looks like a strong record — and I'm sure he's tweaked the design based on all of that experience.
