What is one thing your mom always says that you used to roll your eyes at — but now find yourself saying too?

She used to say, “Just because everybody likes it doesn’t mean it’s good.” I rolled my eyes so hard, but now, looking for things that are truly timeless is exactly what I do every single day.

What is a moment with your mom that you wish you could relive again?

She always made everyday moments feel beautiful, even just setting the table for breakfast. As a kid, I didn’t care. Now I realize that noticing the beauty in the small details is everything.

What is one thing about your mom that makes her cooler than most people think?

Her incredible patience. She would spend hours getting one small detail exactly right. I was always in a rush as a teenager. Now I know that taking the time to make something truly meaningful for them is a very gift.
