Netflix‘s new TV and movie release schedule for this week, May 4 – May 10, 2026, includes the second season of a true crime docuseries.

Worst Ex Ever focuses on stories where relationships ended up taking a violent turn through interviews, bodycam footage, and reenactments. Season 2’s trailer has teased the cases of convicted criminals Wade Wilson and 90 Day Fiancee’s Geoffrey Paschel.

Also coming to Netflix is The Chestnut Man (Season 2 – Hide and Seek). The crime series is based on the book by Søren Sveistrup, Detective Naia Thulin, and Mark Hess, delving deep into a murder case involving a figurine made of chestnuts. Season 2, based on the sequel book, will resume the story of Naia and Mark, five years later. The star cast of the series features Danica Curcic, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, David Dencik, and many others in key roles.

The weekend features Netflix’s second live roast, with Kevin Hart at the center this time around. Shane Gillis is set to host the event.
