Neil Sedaka was reportedly rushed to the hospital this morning.

TMZ is reporting that the 86-year-old “Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” singer was feeling ill on Friday morning (February 27) and was transported to the hospital via an ambulance at around 8am.

A “medical request” call was placed and the fire department assisted, the L.A. County West Hollywood sheriff’s station confirmed.

Some of Neil‘s other famous hit songs include “Oh! Carol,” “Calendar Girl,” “Laughter in the Rain,” and “Bad Blood.” He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1983, and was nominated for five Grammy Awards over the years.
