The New England Patriots have released a statement in support of Mike Vrabel as his personal life takes a major focus during one of the biggest NFL weeks of the calendar year: the NFL Draft. The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off tonight and runs through Saturday, but Vrabel, who is the head coach of the team, has already announced that he won’t be participating in day three, as he is seeking counseling. This news came on the heels of new photos of him with sportswriter Dianna Russini, who he was allegedly photographed kissing in 2020. Keep reading to find out more… The Patriots told Page Six in a statement: “The New England Patriots fully support Mike Vrabel’s decision to prioritize his family first, as well as his own well-being. Mike has been open with us about his commitment to being the best version of himself for his family, this team and our fans, and we respect the steps he is taking to follow through on that commitment.” If you are not aware, there were photos of Russini and Vrabel at an Arizona resort last month, but they denied anything romantic. Since that time, several new crops of photos have emerged, including the kissing images. Both Mike and Dianna are married to other people. Meanwhile, if you did not see, Dianna Russini‘s 2021 tweet about her son named “Michael” is going viral.
