Netflix

The Circle is coming back for an eighth season, but it won’t be on Netflix!

As previously announced over the summer, the competition series has moved to Hulu after the original streamer did not renew it for another season.

It was then revealed that Michelle Buteau will NOT be returning as the host, after helming the series for seven season on Netflix.

Now, Hulu has announced the new host and when it will premiere on their streaming platform!

Tinx is the new host of The Circle!

During an appearance on Hulu’s Get Real podcast, which will stream TONIGHT (October 21) at 9 pm PT, Tinx, whose real name is Christina Najjar, announced that she will be the new host of The Circle!

She then explained how the game works, for those who don’t know.

“So, all the contestants move into a house, but they never meet each other. You can either present as yourself or you can catfish. There’s going to be celebrities in the mix,” she shared. “It’s basically a popularity contest once you’re in there. It is going to be so good, so juicy. I truly can’t wait.”

Tinx also revealed that the new season will premiere on November 17th on Hulu and Disney+.

What to expect from the new The Circle

Along with the new streaming home and new host, The Circle will also be revamping a bit.

Here’s the official logline:

Reimagined as a fast-turnaround social experiment, Hulu’s “The Circle” brings together everyday players and celebrities to compete side by side in a game of popularity where identity is ever-changing, and anyone can be anyone. Filmed in real time, the series gives viewers exclusive access as twists and player ratings unfold, with audience votes shaping the game. This fresh take supercharges the original’s signature mix of strategy and deception into an addictive experience built for today’s always-on audience.
