LeAnn Rimes addresses rumors that she’s joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Rumors that LeAnn Rimes might join Beverly Hills started circulating online as Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills approached its finale reunion episode on May 7. A new season is expected to begin filming over the next few months.
At the same time, Rimes continues starring in 9-1-1: Nashville, where she plays struggling musician Dixie Bennings, the mother of Hunter McVey’s character Blue. The Ryan Murphy-produced drama recently earned a second-season renewal following a strong debut.
However, fans and podcast hosts began discussing possible additions to the Beverly Hills cast. LeAnn Rimes’ name came up in the conversation, and fans reacted pretty quickly afterward.
The rumors gained more attention after an Instagram post shared by Ringer Reality TV discussed the possibility of Rimes joining Beverly Hills. During the conversation, the hosts mentioned reports from DeuxMoi claiming her name was being floated internally for the series.
Rimes later responded directly in the post’s comments. She said joining Housewives wasn’t for her, adding that 9-1-1: Nashville already brings enough drama. She wrote, “omg, dying! SCHOOL QUEEN ?? no, no…. no housewives for me. playing dixie on 911 nashville is drama enough for me ?”
Meanwhile, former RHOBH star Brandi Glanville also reacted sarcastically to the rumors on X. She joked that she hoped the reports were true, referencing Rimes eventually marrying Glanville’s former husband, Eddie Cibrian.
For now, LeAnn Rimes has made it clear that she is not interested in joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
